Heritage Photos Online

I try to read as many genealogy blogs, newsletters, websites, etc. as possible to find out about Canadian content for family historians. In reading a posting on Genealogy Blog about old family photos online (nothing Canadian, sorry!) I realized that I've missed pointing out a great Canadian photo resource: Images Canada. Images Canada is a heritage photo portal hosted by the Library and Archives Canada. Its database is actually made up of the photo collections created and maintained by its Partners, as well as Photo Essays and Photo Trails. An excellent resource to use with students as well as family historians.
